History
Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd is a privately owned company. Its success and rapid growth is attributed to professional and effective management, self-discipline, and a total commitment to quality & improvement.
The first Yellow Pages® was published in 1997, initially the book was published bi-annually.
In 1999 Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd acquired the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and is the first publishing house in Malta and Gozo with this accreditation.
In 2001, it was decided to publish the Yellow Pages annually and Yellow Pages has now published its twelfth edition.
December 2002 was another milestone for Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd as the company moved into new and larger premises.
In 2007 Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd was awarded a special mention in the “Environment Awards for Industry”. The award was in the Conservation award for sustainable development, category B section. In 2011 Yellow Pages was awarded this award in recognition of the Yellow Pages old book recovery programme. In fact, since 2006, over 403,850 books have been collected and sent for recycling.
2008 Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd underwent another expansion, opening an office in Gozo and also extending the offices in Marsa.
