Yellow Pages is Back with Innovations!

The 2010/2011 edition of the Yellow Pages was launched recently during a business breakfast held at The Palace in Sliema. The event was organised to introduce the media to the 12th edition of Malta & Gozos local directory pages and to explain further about the brands current range of directory services that provide user-friendly access to thousands of business addresses.

The Yellow Pages directory front cover has been created around the companys motto always by your side, given a fresher look and a new twist to the walking fingers theme. Up until the end of September the new edition will be delivered to the doorsteps of all homes and business addresses around the Islands. In keeping with its ecology-friendly measures, Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd will as usual be collecting previous directory editions free of charge during the delivery of the new book and utilising these for recycling purposes.

There are innovations in the form of a Restaurant Guide which is being incorporated within the usual pages and offering restaurant information according to locality or according to the  specific cuisine being sought. Restaurants offering home delivery are clearly listed. When searching businesses online, accompanying maps were based on latest GPS technology and so include pointers that indicate the exact location of each business.

Over recent times, the company has consolidated its marketing efforts by maintaining its presence in the print media, and expanding on the web and through mobile communications. The Yellow Pages web pages are handy to access when the directory book itself is not available, whilst when on the road, one can easily access information from Yellow Pages by using a personal mobile phone.

The Yellow Pages (Malta) has gone beyond its standard services to offer advertisers a package of marketing opportunities, not merely linked to the YP directory itself, but also the creation of entry level websites tailor-made for local and international markets. Further development of such websites is achieved, thanks to Yellow Pages collaboration with Zheta International, a major local player in the web design industry.

To consolidate the launch of its new directory, Yellow Pages has also introduced its new TV advertising campaign which kicks off in October and aims to keep television viewers entertained through some comedy thanks to a collaboration with TV production company The Bigger Picture.
